  1. Clarity is a design decision. If someone needs a tooltip to understand it, it isn't done.
  2. The best design system is the one the team actually uses.
  3. Prototype in code when the interaction matters. A static frame lies.
  4. Constraints are a feature. Unlimited options produce mediocre outcomes.
  5. Ship, measure, iterate. The first version is a hypothesis.
  6. Speed of feedback determines speed of learning. Get it in front of people.
  7. Design is a conversation, not a deliverable.
